Helen's rings can be made to order using a wide variety metal combinations, gemstones, and gemstone mounts. Please note that not all rings can be made with all of these options. Gemstone Mounts

Helen's rings can be made with a variety of designer gemstone mounts. Here are all of the mounts currently available. The mounts that look best for each ring are shown in the item page for the ring.

Metals

Helen's rings, which are crafted by entirely by hand without a sizing band, can be made with a wide variety of options. Though we show her designs primarily with 18K yellow gold and sterling silver, rings can also be fabricated in solid 18K yellow gold or just solid sterling silver.

The silver rings are handmade individually in our Santa Fe studio with the same care that we take with our gold rings. We do not work in white gold or 14K yellow gold. With the bi-metal rings, the knot work design in the center of the ring can be either gold soldered on sterling silver, or plain sterling silver. For bordered rings, the borders can be gold or sterling silver, smooth or striated. All gold over silver designs have sterling silver ring shanks.

The background behind the motif in the center of Helen's rings with sterling silver shanks come to you blackened, with a permanent antique finish. This accents the contrast behind knot work, maximizing the elegance in the design.

Gemstones

Our aim is to offer as many gems as possible that are from environmentally and socially responsible companies. We have sought out contacts in the trade with people who share our core values and can supply us with Fair Trade gems. In some cases, we have gone directly to the source of the mine.
