Fair trade generally refers acceptable universal environmental and labor standards for items imported from developing to developed countries. At present, there are no fair trade diamonds though there is movement, particularly from the Rapaport group, to create this product. We do sell diamonds that are mined in Canada. We also sell Kimberly Certified African diamonds from a dealer who can trace the gems to their source.
All the rings in this site are made in the USA by small designer jewelry studios or individual artisans. Reflective Images does import some Fair Trade components to create jewelry for its extensive line as shown www.celticjewelry.com.
